Wednesday 2 - Brand Partnership

Booking.com & Netflix

Booking.com teamed up with Netflix’s series Wednesday 2 for a global TV and social campaign built on the Find Exactly What You’re Booking For creative platform — showing that the brand can satisfy even the most impossible-to-please traveller, including Morticia Addams herself.

Fronted by Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, the campaign brought together the darkly charming world of Wednesday with the joy of booking your next escape. The work was adapted for multiple markets to deliver global impact with a local touch.

Bringing the Campaign to Life

Blending Wednesday’s gothic elegance with the vibrant, optimistic world of Booking.com was a unique creative opportunity — one that called for close collaboration across teams. This meant bringing together the Booking.com core team, where I was the in-house Lead Creative, Netflix, and a multitude of agencies and specialist partners.

From the initial concept through to the final post-production outputs, I partnered closely with Netflix and the creative agency to craft a campaign that felt genuinely rooted in the world of Wednesday while staying true to the playful spirit of Booking.com. To ensure authenticity, we worked with key members of the original Wednesday production team — from costume design and cinematography to art direction — bringing their expertise into every detail of the campaign.

Blending Two Worlds

From prop design to social storytelling, we crafted every detail to merge the Wednesday universe with Booking.com’s playful world of travel.

Whether it was a decaying pineapple phone case rising from a grave, Morticia browsing a hotel with “killer views” on the app, or guests “spotting” her on the beach or at breakfast, each moment was designed to feel as if Wednesday’s gothic charm had slipped naturally into real holiday life.
